The strike statistics are compiled in accordance with ILO standards and include all strikes, even if there is no administrative record of their start date, with the exception of those that do not involve days not worked (such as ‘work-to-rule’ actions), those lasting less than one hour, those involving non-productive activities (consumers, students) and those involving collectives that do not have the right to strike (military officials and security forces).

L’Estadística de vagues s’elabora d’acord amb les normes de l’OIT i recull totes les vagues, encara que no hi hagi constància administrativa del seu inici, excepte les que no impliquen jornades no treballades (com ara les "vagues de zel"), les que són d’una durada inferior a una hora, les que afecten activitats no productives (consumidors, estudiants) i les que afecten col·lectius sense dret a vaga (funcionaris militars i forces de seguretat).
